One of the Christmas tradition here in Barili is the celebration of the "Family Day" which is sponsored and hosted by the Parish Pastoral Council of Barili. The celebration was held this morning, December 27, 2009 at the Barili Kiosk and it was participated by the different barangays of the town.
There were several activities such as the "Get together luncheon" wherein participants from the 42 barangays of Barili bring foods to share. The daygon contest and presentation was done right after the get together lunch. Zone Ylaya grab the first place and seconded by Zone Maigang. The exchanging of gifts ended the celebration which was indeed a success to everyone. The participants went home with a gift to cherish for the holiday season.
