Why STaiRwaY?
Upon taking a glance on my blog, STAIRWAY... maybe you'll ask why STAIRWAY? What is in it? Well, I chose STAIRWAY simply because it speaks of taking a STEP either going up or going down in order to reach the next level or even reach a place where you want to go. It is my avenue to reach out to the world and share my hopes and aspirations in life as well as sharing the wonders of dwelling here in the Philippines.

The Philippine Flag
The Philippine flag reigns in all occasions and in all seasons of the year in the Philippines. especially in Barili. Why is this so? The Philippine flag is the national symbol of our country. Filipinos never give up their loyalty to the Philippine flag.
The national flag of the Philippines is a horizontal bicolor with equal bands of blue and red, and with a white equilateral triangle based at the hoist side; in the center of the triangle is a golden yellow sun with eight primary rays, each containing three individual rays; and at each corner of the triangle is a five-pointed golden yellow star. The flag is displayed with the blue field on top in times of peace, and with the red field on top in times of war.
Official sources state that the white triangle stands for equality and fraternity; the blue field for peace, truth, and justice; and the red field for patriotism and valor. The eight primary rays of the sun represent the eight provinces which declared a state of war as soon as the first revolt was initiated in the 1896 Revolution of independence from Spain, and placed under martial law by the colonial government:Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Laguna, and BatangasThe three stars represent the three major geographical divisions of the country: Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
How about your country's flag? Is it always visible in your place?
