Keep the Sentences Short

      Write short sentences because for me the longer the sentence, the more words. The more words, the more complex the relationships. The more complex the relationships, the more

difficult for the readers to follow and the greater the chances for misunderstanding.

     Sentence readability has been tested and measured. We know that people read with ease. One way of breaking those long sentences is to have one sentence with one idea. I use periods or semi-colons to break the sentences into idea components. Variety spices up reading. I balanced the short ones with a long sentence every now and then.
